He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Hertzfeld and Marjorie Hertzfeld (Napierala). He is survived by: his son Joshua Norman; his wife Dawn; his children, Luke Hertzfeld (Kate) of Swanton, Michelle Kersey (Ross) of Davisburg and David Hertzfeld (Nicole) of Delta; his grandchildren, Peter Hertzfeld, Henry Hertzfeld, Claire Kersey, Kerrigan Kersey, Theodore "Teddy" Kersey, Ezekiel Hertzfeld and Forrest Hertzfeld; and his siblings, Bonnie Hanifan (John), Don Hertzfeld (Linda), Mike Hertzfeld (Kim), Mary Alexander (Art), Richard Hertzfeld (Laura), Theresa Simon (Mark), Cathy Ransberger (Dan), Kevin Hertzfeld (Debbie) and Joe Hertzfeld (Carrie).
