It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard J. Leite of Waterville, Ohio, born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Irene Leite (Halbeisen); his grandson Zachary Franczek; his siblings, Dr. Richard Leite, Mary Droll, Robert Leite, Edward Leite and Barbara Burns; and his parents, Carl Leite and Marie Leite (Dolweck).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Franczek (Vince) of Hinckley, Janet Miller (Rod) of Perrysburg and Carol Helm (Chris) of Centerville, Ohio.; his brother Dr. John C. Leite; and his grandchildren, Meghan, Benjamin, Matthew, Christian Franczek, Alexandra Miller Trame (Tyler), Andrew, Nathaniel, Bennett, Ethan Miller, Abigail, Alexander and Austin Helm.
Memorial donations are encouraged to Elara Hospice or the Scholarship Fund at St. John's Jesuit High School and Academy in lieu of flowers.
