She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Hickenbottom and Lillian Hope James Hickenbottom; her spouse Dale A. Adams; and her brothers-in-law, Oran Adams, Garner Burkheimer and Bill Flesher.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Adams (Joni) of Waterford and Connie Kirsch (Tracy) of Mooresville, NC; her grandchildren, Valerie Crock (Billy) of Waterford, Rachael Tucker (John) of Waterford and Brockton Adams of Waterford; her siblings, James Hickenbottom (Evonne) of Williamstown, WV, Joyce Flesher of Beverly and Monica Garrahan (Glen) of Pittsboro, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Adams of Waterford, Sue Burkheimer of Waterford and Barbara Von Moegen of Waterford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wolf Creek School District for the Art Program.
