He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. Burkheimer and Glenna Morrison Burkheimer; his siblings, Lois Wolfe and Jerry Burkheimer; his brothers-in-law, Bob Walters, Albert Hall and Don Wolfe; his son-in-law Michael Lamp; and his sister-in-law Patricia Burkheimer.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Adams Burkheimer; his children, James "Jim" Burkheimer (Melissa) of Beverly and Christy Lamp of Newport; his grandchildren, Ryan, Bethany Spotts and Naomi Shultz (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Angelo Resto and Gael Revera; his sisters, Dortha McCormick (Chester) of McConnelsville, Donna Hall of Malta, Mary Walters of Lakeland and Alice Hall (Gary) of Lakeland, Florida; and his cousins, Roger and Dana Burkheimer of Canton, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
