She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hemrick and Nettie Dye Hemrick; her husband William "Bill" Maffin; her daughter Deborah Maffin; her grandchildren, Lloyd, Richard, Joseph, Amber, Ricky and Billy; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Evan; her siblings, Bill, Jake Hemrick and Ann Wintermute; and her close friend Richard Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Maffin (Edith) of Gore, William Maffin of Nelsonville, Ray Maffin (Tina Stephen) of Waterford, Robert Maffin of Glouster, Ronald Maffin of Glouster, Ruth Ann Perrin of New Straitsville, Elizabeth Harden (Lester) of Glouster, Vicki Barnett (Anthony) of Logan and Betty Garrett (Claude) of Logan; her siblings, John Hemrick (Sharon) of South Carolina and Elma "Marie" Queen of Portsmouth; and her close friend Samantha Brooks. She is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
