He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monnett and Mae Monnett (Burton); his sister Claudia Fisher; his father-in-law Richard Jones; and his stepson Antwuan Walder.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Monnett (Jones); his children, John Paul (Erin), Kevin (Krystine) and Erin Monnett; his grandchildren, Jaylen, Elijah Monnett, Tiana Walder and Amira Gulledge; his mother-in-law Patricia Jones; his brothers-in-law, Joe Fisher, Richard (Anita), John (Susan) and Patrick Jones (Dan Keefe); his nieces and nephews, Ava (Paul Holden), Ian, Claire Jones, Matthew and Timothy Keefe-Jones; and also Michelle Jones.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home - Centerville (81 N Main St, Centerville, OH 45459). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459). An entombment was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the David's Cemetery (4600 Mad River Rd, Dayton, OH 45429).
