She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Azbill and Zena Azbill (Van Winkle); and her sister Jeri Terry (Russell). She is survived by: her husband Nicholas P. Shamis; her children, Chris Shamis (Susan) and Nicole Kessel; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Kessel, Nicholas Shamis and Katherine Shamis; and her siblings, Olferd Azbill (Maxine) of Eaton, Alfreda Freund (Rob) of Springboro, Lois Little (Steve) of Tennessee, Sharon Weinel (Darrell) of Germantown, Velma Stewart (James) of Springboro, Jack Azbill (Debra) of West Manchester and Dale Azbill (Loraine) of Eaton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
