He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion George and Gladys George; his children, Yvonne Louise and Jamie George; his sister Carolyn Malick; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Malick and Richard Glen Boddorf.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Cheryl Lanese (Tom) and Alan George; his grandchildren, Michelle Osmanski (Bill), Brian Lanese (Jennifer), Matthew Lanese (Jenny), Joshua George, Benjamin George, Aaron George (Rachel) and Rachel George; his great grandchildren, Julia, Alyssa of Billy, TJ, Alex, Connor, Andrew, Aleiyah and Aubrey; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Cole, Dylan and Tyler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
