He is survived by: his mother Dessie Katherine Kearns (Streitenberger); his wife Bonnie Jean Lyons (Mettler); his children, Brandon Mettler, Charles Mettler, Sylar Lyons and Kendell Lyons; his grandson Alexander Wright-Mettler; his grandmother Carolyn Penwell; his mother-in-law Wanda Jaeckels; his siblings, Wayne Roberts (Dan), Richard Lyons (Edith) and Ronalee Mongold (Jake); and his sisters-in-law, Tara Jaeckels (Jason) and Amanda Penrod (Scott). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
