She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Clarence B. and Mary K. Hayes (Ringwald); her husband Dale A. Horney; and her grandson Zach Milstead. She is survived by: her son Andrew Milstead (Misty); her stepchildren, Gale Pukall (Craig), Bill Horney (Toni) and Jolene McCabe (Chris); her grandchildren, Grace Milstead, Gretchen Davis (Levi), Ryan Carter, Danny Carter, Tori Horney and Kyle McCabe; and her siblings, Madeline Baird (Bill) and Peter Hayes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
