He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Garland Graven and Velma Starr Graven. He is survived by: his significant other Deborah Johnson Graven; his siblings-in-law, Donna Johnson Roberts and Gary Roberts; his aunts, Sammye Graven and Ettie Lee Graven; and his caregiver Tammy Kessler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardy & Son Funeral Home (3098 Louisville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42103). They traveled 49 states and had planned to go to Alaska when the pandemic hit.
He fought a long battle with Parkinson's and Dementia.
