She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Brooks and Virgie Brooks (Simons); her husband Franklin Yates; and her son Jerry Dean Murray. She is survived by: her son James Anthony Murray; her grandsons, Jared Austin Murray and Josh Anthony Murray; her great grandchildren, Jace and Jade Murray; her stepdaughter Carol Eaves; her stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Yates and Brandon Zachary Eaves; her sister Shelby Stevens; her niece Debbie Stevens; her nephew Chris Stevens; and her close friends, Linda Bennette and Carolyn Shadley.
