He was predeceased by: his parent Dale Merritt; and his brothers, Pat Merritt and John. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Anthony Merritt; his daughters, Fawne "Micky" Krape (Scott), Tawny Mitchell (Dennis) and Sara Merritt; his grandchildren, Logan, Addison, Beckett Krape, Branton (Kaylin), Jayden, Toby and Lynlee Mitchell; his great grandchild Ella; his brother Kurt Merritt (Dawn); his sister-in-law Rhonda Merritt; his nieces, Kisha, Jamee Merritt and Shannon Newman; and his close friend Billie Jo Miley.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Milledgeville - Plymouth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested directly to the funeral home to assist the family with Les's final expenses.
