He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lou Mitchell (Newland); his children, Kenneth Scott Mitchell, Craig Allen Mitchell, Lige Browning, Angela Kidder and Mary Jane Browning; his grandchildren, Cory Ray Williams and Barbara Marie Williams; his great grandchildren, Bailey Mae Massie and Madaline Marie Riehle; his nephew Jimmy Stubbs, Jr.; and his close friend Charles D. Fitch. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of friends.
