It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karol E. Wolfe-Thompson (Washington Court House, Ohio), born in New Holland, Ohio, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland M. McCune and Gertrude M. Butler (Thompson); the father of her children James H. Wolfe; her sons, Jeffrey D. Wolfe and Brian L. Wolfe; her stepson Craig Thompson; and her siblings, Ronnie McCune, Donnie McCune, Steven Butler and Jon Butler.
She is survived by: her grandson Christian Evan Burge; her husband David Hubert Thompson; her children, Kari Burge (Mark) and Mark Wolfe (Kathy); her stepchildren, Rene Otto (Ken), Eric Thompson and Jessica Davidson; and her siblings, Cheri Martin (Marty), Dale Butler (Denise), Bruce Butler (Gail), Greg McCune (Connie), Doug McCune, Beth Davidson and Debbie Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.
