With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Franklin Faris of Washington Court House, Ohio, born in Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard D. Faris and Ruth B. Faris (Lewis); his granddaughter Celeste Hope Faris; and his brother Joseph "Joe" Willard Faris. He is survived by: his wife Rita Scott Faris of Washington, C. H.; his children, Dean Faris (Barb) of Washington, C. H. and Diane Munro (Dennis) of Washington, C. H.; his grandchildren, Derek Faris (Serena) of Washington, C. H., Devin Turner (Mychal) of Grove City, Christopher Brown (Whitney) of Yellow Springs and Alexandra Huffman (Michael) of Alaska; his great grandchildren, Keegan Williams (Faris), Maxx Huffman, Edisun Huffman and Logan Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Randell Scott of Leesburg and Ruth Scott of Leesburg. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
