He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Welton (Lindsey); his children, Edwina Louise Woods (Robert) and Edward Hewitt Welton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Maria Wilson, Dixie Carmen, Robert Woods, II, Matthew Woods, Tyler Welton, Christopher Welton and Hailey Welton; his great grandchildren, Andalyn, Gabrielle, Emmett and Chevy; and his sister Marjorie Gowey of Arizona. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
