He is survived by: his parents, Donald R. Tom and Nancy Danison Tom; his children, Sean Tom, Braiden Tom, Maeve Tom and Gavin Tom; his granddaughter Arabella Wical; and his brothers, Tracy Tom (Teresa), Troy Tom (Jackie) and Chris Tom (Christy). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bill's name be made to: The Ohio Cattleman's Association referencing "Bill Tom Scholarship" in the memo.
