He is survived by: his wife Frances Wines-Whitley (Cox); his children, David Whitley (Tammy) of Waverly and Esther Smithson of Columbus; his stepson Earl Wines of Newcomers Town; his siblings, Elijah Keaton, Gary Keaton (Debbie), Glenn Keaton (Tamela) and Anna Countryman (John); and his brother-in-law Calvin Montgomery. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great granddaughter and three step grandchildren.
