She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Longino and Bernice Dahmer (Stephens); her husband Elmer Smith, Jr.; her sons, Vernon Andrew Smith and Elmer Joseph Smith; and her grandson Tyrone Baker.

She is survived by: her children, Annetta Baker, Gloria Petty (Laurence) and Shawn Smith (Tiffani); her grandchildren, Tylan Baker, Dr. Aerial Petty, Lauren Petty, Sirrenna Petty, Sebastian Smith, Christian Smith, Taylor Smith, Sterling Smith, Trinity Smith, Christina Keebler, Brennen Smith (Patti), Elmer Joseph Smith, Annetta Smith, Rachel Smith, Frankie Dent, Katherine Ferriman, Nicole Steward and Donald Kinney; and her sister-in-law Corrine Woodfork. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.
