He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Mellor Sr. and Laura Mellor (Hawkins); and his siblings, John, Edgar, Glen, Asa, Helen, Ada and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Mellor (McGrady) of Warsaw; his children, Linda Angle (Bill) of West Lafayette, Sandra Mellor-Lauby (Harold) of Warsaw, Sherrie Waller (Robert) of Granville and Dan Mellor (Teresa) of Warsaw; and his siblings, Owen Mellor Jr. of Killbuck and Alice McFarland (Mellor) of Millersburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
