She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McCombs and Evelyn McCombs (Giauque); her granddaughter Kaylyn Holmes; and her brothers, Billy Joe McCombs, Sr. and Danny Dean McCombs.

She is survived by: her husband Robert N. Holmes of Hanover; her sons, Bryan Holmes (Teresa) of Glenford, B. J., Bruce Holmes (Renee) of Franklin, TN, Bradley Holmes (Tina) of Newark and Ben Holmes (Tahnee) of Heath; her grandchildren, Jason OHora, Brittani Holmes, Erica Fry, Briana Gadke, Conner Holmes, Maryssa Reeves, Raegan Holmes, Hayden Holmes, Quinton Holmes and Bryceton Holmes; her siblings, Stan McCombs (Sue), Nancy Holder, Bobby McCombs (Betty) and Judy Chaney (Rusty); and her sister-in-law Candy McCombs.
