He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sherrets and Bernice Sherrets (Swinderman); and his son-in-law Jerry Shields. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Sherrets (Harding) of Cooperdale; his children, Kenneth Sherrets (Beth Hampp) of Zanesville, Kay Shields of Inman, SC and Connie White (James) of Baltimore; his grandsons, Jason Beatty (Jamie) of Warsaw, Kevin Sherrets (Lindsay) of Cranberry, PA, Justin Shields (Lecretia Holbert) of Inman, SC, Joshua Shields (Heather) of Inman, SC, Nathan White (Danay) of Baltimore and Kyle Sherrets (Rachel) of Dublin; his great grandchildren, Micah White, Luke Beatty, Jaxson Shields, Sloane Sherrets, Noah Shields, Quinn Sherrets, Aaron Shields, Jayce Shields and Lacie White; and his brother Donald Sherrets (Barbara) of New Philadelphia.
