He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Allen and Mary Frances Whittington (McGee); his brother Joe Whittington (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Majoy and Barbara Taylor (Roy).

He is survived by: his wife Susan Whittington (Shunk) of Warsaw; his siblings, Michael Whittington (Colleen) of Loveland and Marcia Stammen (Terry) of New Weston; his sister-in-law Sally Majoy of Huron; and his children, Kevin, Mary Foster of Warsaw and McGee. He is also survived by first cousins; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Edison High School Football Program, 2603 State Route 113 E Milan, OH 44826.
