He was predeceased by: his parents, Klines Kaser and Marie Kaser (Wantland); his grandson Clinton Kaser; his brother Joe Kaser (Mary); and his brother-in-law Bob Borden.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Kaser (Moritz); his children, Tony Kaser (Tara) of Warsaw, Tad Kaser (Stacey) of Warsaw and Heidi Freetage (Jeff) of Wooster; his grandchildren, Colt Kaser (Heather), Candice Kaser, Derek Kaser (Ana), Darcie Moore (Zack), Tyler Pinckard (Taylor), Megan Miller, Brandi Miller, Cali Mellor (Jake), Michael Freetage (Emily), Jessica Freetage and Nicole Freetage; and his sister Reva Borden. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
