With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Akers (Warsaw, Ohio), born in Tioga, West Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2019 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Boshnett and Verla Boshnett; her husband Donald R. Akers; her son Donald R. Akers II; her grandson Tyler Lane; and her siblings, Albert D. Boshnett, Miller Boshnett, Andrew Boshnett, Lena Shafner and Barbara Krist.
She is survived by: her son Greg Akers (Brenda) of Newcomerstown; her granddaughters, Lora, Lisa, Nicole and Emily Akers of Shinnston, WV; and her close friend Millie Gemmondo. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
