She was predeceased by: her parents, Theofani Kapolis and Athanasia Kapolis (Ioannou); her husband Peter J. Dascoulias (Pete); and her siblings, Nick T. Kapolis, Marina Barges and Esther Zarafonitis.
She is survived by: her children, John Dascoulias (Clifford Pugh), Frank Dascoulias and Christina Gania (Tim); her grandchildren, Greg Gania (Meagan), Alexa Nikolaides (Pantelis), Adonis Dascoulias and Melena Dascoulias (Lawrence Zarlengo); her great grandchildren, Dimitri and Vasiliki Nikolaides; and her sister-in-law Christina K. Kapolis. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and countless friends who loved her like family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (429 High St NE, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bessie's memory to the St. Demetrios Philoptochos Ladies Society (St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High Street, NE Warren, OH 44481), which carries out widespread charitable work with a focus on the underprivileged.
