He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Malys and Anne Malys (Kurdilla); his sister Christine Felise; his brothers-in-law, Tom Urban, Butch Blank and Joseph Kowalczyk; and his nephew Matthew Dreas.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Malys (Kowalczyk); his daughters, Stacy Hartman (Randy) of Johnston Twp and Andrea Ramirez (Christian) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Hailee, Michael and Emilia; his siblings, Mary Licavoli (Peter), Sue Blank, Barb Urban, Ralph Malys (Delores), Jane Hazi (Jerry) and Monica MacQuarry (Gordon); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Felise, Linda Holtzman, Paul Kowalczyk (Peg) and Theresa Kowalczyk.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Homes Shafer Winans Chapel (164 N High St, Cortland, OH 44410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robert Catholic Church (4659 Niles Cortland Rd NE, Cortland, OH 44410).
