She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her siblings, Harry, Nicholas and Constance; and her significant other George Sevastos.

She is survived by: her daughters, Effie Deuble (Tom) and RaNae Polan (Oral); her grandchildren, Suzanne Griffiths (Brian), Peter Zock (Ashley), Jason Polan (Evelyn), Jessica Horodyski and Jennifer Julian; her great grandchildren, Mia, Laci, Chase, Kayla, Paityn, Macyn, Addison, Giovanni, Neiko and Eli; her sister Antoinette Mark; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Gianoutsos and Diamondo Gianoutsos. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Sylvia's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481 or the Philoptochos Society.
