He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Cohen and Opal Cohen (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Corene Cohen; his stepchildren, Matthew Metzler and Emily Swerline; and his brother Jerry Cohen. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
