He was predeceased by: his parent Patrick W.; his wife Nancy B. Haddon Kane; his siblings, Bill Kane and Margie Minick; and his son-in-law Rusty Findley.

He is survived by: his parent Ethel M. Vaughn Kane; his daughter Lori E. Findley (Kane); his grandchildren, Robert R. Findley III of Warren and Lilah H. Findley (Alicia Hendricks) of Huber Heights; and his sister-in-law Carilyn Rudolph. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Richard Carl Kane, 87 peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family early Saturday morning July 21, 2018 after a long, brave and strong battle with complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
