He was predeceased by: his parents, John Limbeck Sr. and Yvonne Glenn Limbeck; his son David Limbeck; and his brothers, George Limbeck, David Limbeck, Mark Limbeck, Stephen Limbeck and Scott Limbeck.

He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Calvert (Michael) of Okatie; his granddaughters, Cameryn Limbeck and Elise Calvert; and his siblings, Melinda Limbeck-Currie and Daniel Limbeck. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

John attended Glenn Christian Foundation Church.
