She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Kennedy and Ruth Kennedy (Twyford); her husband Nick S. Trua; her son-in-law Steve Landfried; and her grandsons, Stephen Futey IV and Andrew Atkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Nicki Landfried, Scott Trua (Lorri), Julie Futey-Peterson and Marti Dudones (Rich); her sister Helen Sell; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Brett, Marcy, Erika, Adam and Christopher. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to Champion Presbyterian Church Choir Fund or Crossroads Hospice of the Akron, OH area in her memory.
