He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Anita J. Wilkes (Coppage); his wife Betsy Curtis Wilkes (Hathaway); and his brothers, William J. and Samuel B. Wilkes.
He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin Franklin Wilkes III (Shannan) of Niles, Robert of Brookfield and John Wilkes of Brookfield; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn E. and Caylee Wilkes.
