He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Bruner Sr. and Cubie B. Butler (Nelveton Butler Sr.); and his sister Jeanette Bruner. He is survived by: his children, Wilson, Taletha Wilson and Kimberly Wilson; and his siblings, Johnnie Mae Price (Daryl), Charles Bruner (Linda), Earlie Bruner, John W. Bruner Jr. (Awilda), Dwight Butler (Tikie), Jimmie Butler (Dorothy) and Nelveton Butler (Verlinda). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
