“I don’t know what to say, I feel like I’m sorry is just generic. I know when I lost loved ones that was the last thing I wanted to hear. I can not even imagine the pain you feel, yet also the peace knowing he is no longer suffering. This one hit me hard, Dan was such an amazing man, he made mistakes, but who doesn’t. He was so smart, maybe to smart for his own good. We use to be so close and still talked every now and then, but lost contact well because of life. I remember the first time he had ever met my little brother, he had no arms or legs and when Dustin came out of the bedroom, Dan was sitting on my couch and Dustin could tell that Dan was nervous so he asked dan if he wanted to wrestle and Dan looked at him like he was crazy, so Dustin came towards him and Dan got up then Dustin started chasing him around our coffee table. Dustin was running on his stumps and Dan was running in circles laughing and yelling like a girl lol. I will cherish the crazy memories I had with him for a lifetime. I wish things could have been different for him, but I just tell myself everything happens for a reason. I know not knowing the reasons stink and I know there are so many questions left unanswered, but God works in mysterious ways. I will keep praying for your family and I will pray that Dan’s soul will find it’s way and is in peace. Keep praying and hold the memories close! Maybe you can help someone and save a life, maybe this horrible thing can turn into something better for someone else. I don’t know I just like to think that everyone has a purpose and maybe his purpose on earth was done or maybe it’s not and the people left here who knew him and what he was going through can lend a hand to someone else and use what you and he had been through. Have faith and stay strong! Fly high Dan, I will miss you and our crazy talks and adventures!!! Love always, Jessica”
