It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil F. Kohler of Wapakoneta, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on February 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Catherine Kohler (Stinebaugh); his brother John Kohler; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Bradshaw (Henry). He is survived by: his father Virgil P. Kohler; his wife LaDonna J. Laman; his children, Lisa Mellott (Steve), Cynthia Newman (Ted), William Kohler (Kathy), Timothy Kohler (Becky), Anna and Lori Lowden (Don); his grandchildren, David Mellott, Christopher Mellott (Stephanie), Tiffany Brown (Thomas), Jeremy Newman (Karla), Jessica Moeller (Tony), Dylan Newman, Dustin Kohler (Briawna), Courtney Kohler, Andrew Lowden (Jessica), Allison Steinke (Brandon), Ryan Lowden (Brooke) and Kayla Straw (Shane); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Kohler. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
