He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Protsman and Hattie Protsman (Lanker); his children, Tap Protsman and David Protsman; his brothers, Harold "Jake" Protsman and Daniel "Dan" Protsman; his brother-in-law Michael "Mike" Herren; and his father-in-law Robert "Bob" Herren.
He is survived by: his wife Holly Protsman (Herren) of Lima, OH; his children, Michael "Mike" Protsman (Robin), Marc Protsman (Cheryl), Toby Protsman (Tiffany Rowe), Lynette Harnishfeger and Lory Lotz; his granddaughter Sophia Protsman; his siblings-in-law, Jamie Protsman, Dee Herren, Sondra Carey, Jackie Gardner, John Herren, Gary Herren and David "Dave" Herren (Eve); and his mother-in-law Nancy Herren. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Chapel Christian Union Church or Debs Dogs.
