He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rickert and Mary Rickert (Rinehart); and his siblings, Helen Louise Rickert, Virginia Mulholland (Tony), Paul Rickert (Norma) and Marcia Walls (George).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Harrison; his children, Cynthia O'Connor (Patrick) of Mason, OH, Patty Severt (Steve), Pam Ayers (Michael) and Kevin Rickert (Laurie) of Hilliard, OH; and his grandchildren, Andrea O'Connor, Ryan O'Connor (Stephanie), John Severt (Erin), Beth McCarthy (Will), Laura Ayers, Rachael Ayers, Matthew Ayers, Kayleigh Rickert, Lucas Rickert and Lilly Rickert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
