He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley W. Maxson and Mildred Maxson (Schemmel); his wife Violet M. "Vi" Malueg; and his brothers, Thomas R. Maxson and Jerry A. Maxson.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Maxson (Becky); his niece Cristina Byer (Todd); his nephew Dennis McCaslin of Van Wert, OH; his grandchildren, Josh Maxson and Kelly Copeland (Dan); and his sister-in-law Karen Maxson.
