He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gibson and Chloe Gibson (Pierstorff). He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Phillips; his sons, Phil A. Gibson (Jeanne) of Wapakoneta and Robert L. 'Hoot' Gibson (Judy) of Wapakoneta; his close friend Syl Offenbacher of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Mace Gibson of Wapakoneta, Alison Dupes (Brian) of Wapakoneta, Marla Craig (Jeff) of New Hampshire, Matt Gibson (Trisha Elerick) of Powhatan Point, Scott Gibson of St. Marys, Brenda McCavit (Wayne) of Bryan and Tom Sprague (Bonita Nicodemus) of Sidney. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren.
