He was predeceased by: his father Howard Fissel; his siblings, Dick, Billy Fissel and Sandy Gaskill; and his stepson Jay Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Marchal (Tom) of Wapakoneta, Mark Fissel of Lima and Doug Fissel (Deb) of Powell; his stepdaughters, Birdella Stephens of Elida and Christie Stephens of LaFayette; and his sister Phyllis Collins of Lima. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
