With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eugene Cook of Wapakoneta, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Cook and Gertrude Cook (Schneider); his wife Leota Maxine Barrett; his siblings, Frederick Cook and Katherine McBride; his daughter Karen Sue Cook Shriver; and his granddaughter Kristy Shriver Bullington.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Stroh (Dennis) and Richard M. Cook; his grandchildren, Tracy Odom (Chris), Holly Frietas, Shannon Hammond (Tony), Sean Stroh (Shelly), Ben Cook and Mandy Cook (Travis Wilson); and his sister Shirley Springer. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
