He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brautigam and Hulda Brautigam (Luntz); his wife Mary Lou Doering; and his brother Donald Brautigam (Lola). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Brautigam (Mike Fairchild) of Durham, NC, Linda Evans (John Michael) of Grand Rapids, OH and Joyce Lambert (Jim) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Sarah Leis (Adam) of Bowling Green, John Matthew Evans (Cailin) of Perrysburg, Scott Evans of Minneapolis, MN, Connor Lambert (Jill) of Cincinnati and Ryan Lambert of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Theo Leis, Ian Leis, Landon Leech, Ashton Leech and Charlotte Evans; and his close friend G. Snyder.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Church of Christ (108 W Mechanic St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul U.C.C. of Wapakoneta, OH or Ohio Farm Bureau.
