She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Toepfer and Nancy Young Hinshaw; her fiancé Doug Trusty; her stepfather Lloyd Hinshaw; and her grandmother Betty Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Chelsee Sherer; her siblings, Melissa Courtney (Bryan Kinstle) and Matthew Young; her nieces and nephews, Kierstan Courtney, Crystal Moore, Steve Courtney (Keeley), Chance Moore and Christopher Moore; her great-nephew Jaxson Shimizu; and her uncle Ralph David Young.
