She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo E. Shields and Cretora F. Shields (Weaver); and her siblings, Richard Shields, Betty Helmlinger, Marjorie Burnfield, Doris Shields and Carolyn Linet.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Hengstler, Cary Hengstler, Scott Hengstler, Rodney Hengstler (Elaine) of Petersburg, TN, Troy Hengstler (Lisa) and Julie Hoelscher; her brother Terry Shields of Hobbs, NM; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Shields. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren.
