He is survived by: his father Roland McDermitt; his son David Herron (Jess Denny); his grandchildren, Parker, Olivia, Briggs, Aiden and Elliot; and his siblings, Lee McDermitt (Cherie), Diane McDermitt and Karen McDermitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
