She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Segal Newport and Minnie Newport (Mason); her husband Ray Phipps; her grandson Brandon Ray Phipps; and her siblings, Irene Neal (Billy Ray), James L. Newport, Clifford Newport (Garnett) and Delbert Vincent Newport.
She is survived by: her children, R. Dwayne Phipps of Wapakoneta, Gary L. Phipps (Pam) of Waynesfield, Darla J. Gossard (Stephen) of Wapakoneta and Michelle D. Hunter (Scott) of Waynesfield; her sisters, Imogene Atkins (Carl) of Cridersville and Karen Wilder (Anthony) of Wapakoneta; and her grandchildren, Shana, Brianne, Travis, Ashley, April, Abby, Cory, Casandra, Leevi, Charlcie, Adam and Cody. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
