She was predeceased by: her parents, George McElroy and Gladys McElroy (Courson); her husband Dennis L. "Burr" Place; her sister Charlotte Ann McElroy; and her brother-in-law Jeff Place.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Scott" Zink of Fortuna, CA, Michael "Mike" Zink (Lori) of Uniontown, OH, Nicholas "Nick" Zink of Lima, OH and Brigitta Hogan (Trent) of Wapakoneta, OH; her stepdaughter Jade Miller; her grandchildren, Lindsey Hassenauer (Doug), Cole Hogan, Reece Hogan, Bryce Hogan, Joshua Zink and Jonathon "Jack" Zink; her stepgrandchildren, Brodie Miller and Timmy Parson; her sister Sue Yost; her mother-in-law Betty Place (late Jay); and her sister-in-law Connie Moon (late Russell).
