He was predeceased by: his mother Lucretia Ankerman (Tester); his brother Bill Ankerman (Connie Ankerman); and his great-nephew Andrew Ankerman. He is survived by: his children, Nathan Ankerman (Andrea) of Delphos, OH and Nina Schmits (Jim Bowser) of Findlay, OH; his grandchildren, Alicia Shivener (Cody), Carleigh Ankerman, Peter Ankerman, McKayla Schmits and Jackson Schmits (Olivia); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Urijah Shivener; his nephews, Gary Ankerman (Diane), Steve Ankerman and Doug Ankerman (Linda); and his great-nephews, Alex Ankerman and Jared Ankerman (Andrianna).
